MY VALUES

Authenticity.   Well-Being.   Equity.   Justice.   Service.   Compassion.   Community.  Collaboration.  Leadership.   Sustainability.   Peace.

WELLBEING IS LEADERSHIP AND THE EXPRESSION OF HUMAN POTENTIAL

I see well-being as more than experiencing physical wellness. I define well-being as being in our flow, in a state of connection with our body, mind, and heart, in the full expression of our inner capabilities as individuals and authentic Self. Essentially, I define well-being as possessing and expressing our capacities for self-actualization, selfhood, and self-leadership.

I believe cultivating our well-being as individuals is key to promoting the well-being of our planet, starting with ourselves and how we show up in the social systems and structures within which we operate in, for example, our teams, organizations, and communities.

I also believe in equity and justice. We can contribute to equity by noticing the abundance of all types of resources available to us, opening our minds and hearts, and taking action accordingly. And, we can contribute to justice when we realize each other's uniqueness, our talents, our gifts, and how we can all thrive together.

Finally, I believe well-being can be made available and accessible to all regardless of financial means, class, race, or gender.

Inspired by my vision, mission, values, beliefs, as well many years of related training, research and experience, I developed my approach for promoting leadership and well-being.

My approach to promoting leadership and well-being is  holistic, integrative, embodied, and experiential.

In other words, I design my offerings and practices so that they consider the big picture, i.e., the systems, structures and relationships within them. And I invite those involved to connect with their entire being, i.e., their physical body, mind, and heart.

I draw from interdisciplinary and scientific research, proven methodology, as well as ancient practices related to communication and leadership studies, psychology, humanities, mindfulness, meditation , expressive art therapy, martial arts, and Hatha Yoga.

Through my service offerings and simple practices, I want to help you address complex challenges and solve problems related to the development and well-being of your organization and the people within it. I also want to help you embody and express your authenticity, well-being, and leadership

If you or your organization are interested in my paid service offerings but do not have the financial means to access them at the moment, please let me know. I offer reduced rates and limited scholarships especially for those who identify as women in the underserved groups (i.e., Indigenous, visible minority, recent immigrants, refugee, and/or LGBTQ+) and for organizations who serve these groups.

I offer professional communication, research, and strategic planning services on topics related to authentic and embodied leadership, organizational development, well-being, and sustainable development.

I design and deliver leadership and well-being programs for individuals, groups, and organizations (e.g., governments, non-profits, academic, corporate, etc.)

I am available to speak, facilitate workshops and retreats, and conduct research.

Let me know how I can help you or how we can collaborate and be a resource to one another.

Connect with me.

Love and Light,

Avegaile
